Happy Birthday My Blog!

oggi è un giorno speciale per me...è il compleanno del mio blog.
un anno passato in frettissima, ma davvero molto denso e ricco.
quando ho aperto il blog non sapevo bene come sarebbe andata....ho pensato che fosse carino mettermi un po' in gioco pubblicando le cose che faccio, essendo la prima volta in cui potevo dirmi "creativa" nella vita.
non mi è servito per motivi di business o commerciali.....ma mi ha dato la possibilità di conoscere tante persone e alcune amiche che ora trovo insostituibili. è una finestra sul mondo che mi piace tenere aperta, con tanti fiori sul davanzale. qui ora posso solo ringraziare chi è passato occasionalmente, chi passa spesso....chi si è voluto iscrivere, chi mi commenta, ma soprattutto....chi ha voglia di tenere un filo "umano" con me. questo è il regalo più bello, credetemi. quindi, grazie di cuore.....
in questo post voglio condividere un regalo che ho voluto fare ad una coppia di amici, due persone che conosco da molti anni e a cui voglio un mare di bene che hanno una pupa deliziosa....ma mi devo preparare per il prossimo, assolutamente!! Non ho inserito tutte le fotografie, avrebbero davvero intasato il post....

Today is a special day for me ... is the birthday of my blog.

a year spent really fast, but really very dense and rich.

when I started with my blog I was not sure how it would go .... I thought it was cute to put the things I do, being the first time where I could say " creative " in my life.

It wasn't for reasons of business or commercial matters..... but it gave me the opportunity to meet so many people and some friends that now I find irreplaceable. It's a window on the world that I like to keep open with many flowers on the windowsill. Now here I can only thank those who passed occasionally, who often goes .... who wanted be my follower, who says whats thinks, but above all .... who wants to keep a "human" thread with me . this is the best gift, you can believe me. and so thank you....with my heart....

in this post I want to share a gift that I wanted to do to a couple of friends, two people I've known for many years and that I love so much, they have a sweet baby, Luna (in english means "moon")... but I have to prepare for the next child, absolutely!!

Romantic Lawyer

Mi piace quando mi chiedono delle card per qualcuno e per descrivermelo mi dicono :lavora nella moda, studia, lavora in banca....o come in questo caso, fa l'avvocato.
teoricamente mi dovrei fare già un'idea, pensando però a che tipo di avvocato? a quelli ammiccanti e un po' spietati di The Suits oppure ai miei preferiti, gli improbabili e strambi di Ally McBeal?
Forse un po' entrambi....comunque ho pensato ad una donna che si destreggia tra occhiali, libri e caffè...un avvocato romantico ma grintoso, con qualche tocco di glitter!

I like so much when someone ask me a card for someone else and they tell me to describe her: works in fashion world, studies, works in a bank .... or, as in this case, she is a lawyer.
Maybe I should have an idea, but thinking about what kind of lawyer? those intriguing and a bit arch of The Suits Series, or my favorite, the improbable and funny of Ally McBeal?
Maybe a little both .... anyway I thought of a woman who manages commitments between glasses, books and coffee ... a romantic lawyer but gritty, with a touch of glitter!

The Sewing Machine

Difficile non pubblicare qualcosa di natalizio in questi giorni.....e quindi non so se sarò controcorrente con questo post ma in fondo...le persone compiono gli anni anche durante il periodo delle feste!
Questa ragazza lavora nella moda e quindi ho voluto curiosare tra le mie carte per vedere se potevo trovare qualcosa di adatto e mi sono subito soffermata su queste.....è vero che alcune carte fanno la maggior parte del lavoro, innegabile. Basterebbero già da sole....
Le ho invecchiate un po' e le ho grattate come faccio ultimamente...mi piace usare la forbice per rovinare i bordi dando quell'aspetto di carta con una storia.
E poi (ovviamente l'avevo dimenticato) ho trovato (dentro ad una delle scatole che stanno per tirare giù il mobile di maison du monde in cucina) quella macchina da cucire in legno che avevo preso in fiera a Vicenza....e tac, mi sembrava perfetta!

It's hard dont' publish something about Christmas in these days ..... and so I maybe I will go against the tide with this post but finally... people have birthdays during the holiday season too!
This girl works in fashion world and so I wanted to browse through my papers to see if I could find something suitable and I immediately focused on these ..... it is true that some papers do most of the work, it's true.
I have aged a bit 'and how I do lately ... I like using scissors to ruin the edges giving that aspect of paper with a story.
And then (of course I had forgotten) I found (in one of the boxes that are going to pull down the dresser ) the  wood sewing machine that I had bought at the Vicenza fair.... and tac, it was perfect!

Tilda, my obsession

Prima o poi sognerò una Tilda che mi rincorre con un machete.....perché le Tilde stanno diventando la mia ossessione. Guardo con occhi grandi le Tilde magiche delle mie amiche (tipo la dolcissima Tiziana o la super Giada!!) e penso che anche io voglio imparare....che voglio colorare con padronanza questi giochi di ombre e luci, queste pieghe sui vestitini, questi fili magici di capelli....
E allora via, ad usare distress come se non ci fosse un domani....e soprattutto a buttare nella differenziata Tilde poco tridimensionali. Sarà per questo che mi verranno a perseguitare durante il sonno? perché le ho cestinate?
Nooooo Tilda....io ti voglio beneeeeee!!
E per non farmi mancare nulla....mi sono ordinata l'intero set di spectrum....168 pennarelli....per imparare a colorare Tilde, sorelle e cugini....Il vero delirio.

Sooner or later I'll dream a Tilda that catches me with a machete .....because Tildas are becoming my obsession. I look with big eyes the magic Tilda of my friends (like the sweet Tiziana or super Giada!!) and I think I want to learn .... I want to paint with these games of shadows and lights, these folds on dresses, these wires magical hair ....
And go, using distress as if there were no tomorrow .... and above all to throw on the garbage not good three-dimensional Tilda. Perhaps this is why I will come to haunt during sleep? because I binned?
Tilda Nooooo .... I love youuuuu!!
And not to miss anything .... I ordered the entire set of 168 spectrum markers.... .... to learn to color Tilda, her sisters and cousins .... The real delirium.

Barefoot Christmas

Natale si avvicina a piedi scalzi, senza far rumore....
Vuoi perché il tempo è strano, vuoi perché ho altre cose per la testa (quella attaccata al collo e piena di capelli....lo dico a me stessa per ricordarmelo altrimenti mi dimenticherei anche di quella....) e perché non faccio l'albero di natale da quando è entrata in casa Frida....bè, mi sembra lontano....e invece è vicinissimo, aiutooooo!!!
Per il nuovo challenge di Storie di timbri carta e... il tema è Christmas with a bow e quindi ho creato un po' di policy envelope natalizie!
Con l'occasione ho realizzato anche qualche piccola tag, con il fondo acrilico che avevo già usato in un paio di post fa....e anche stavolta non ho usato fustelle ma solo carta, colla, forbici e qualche file digitale di Valentina's Creations. A volte stare un po' a dieta di big shot fa bene...non fa dimagrire ma aiuta a stimolare di più la creatività!!

Because the weather is strange, because I have other things on my mind (the head is attached to the neck and full of hair .... I say it to myself to remind me otherwise I would forget also that ....) and because I don't do Christmas tree since Frida is in my house .... Well, it seems to me far .... and instead is very close, helpppp!!!
For the new challenge of Storie di timbri carta e...blog the theme is Christmas with a bow and then I created a bit of Christmas policy envelopes!
On this occasion I also made some small tags with the acrylic colors that I had used some posts ago .... and once again I did not use dies but only paper, glue, scissors and some digital file of Valentina's Creations . Sometimes being a bit on a diet of big shot is good ... I dont' loose weight but helps to stimulate more creativity!!

 

 

 

 

How to make a Paper Button

Ultimamente sto usando in alcuni progetti i bottoni hand made (ok sì....è un'altra fissa...).
Si tratta di bottoni di metallo che vendono sia in merceria oppure on line e che possono essere rivestiti con tessuto (già stupendo questo!).  Recentemente ho trovato dei tutorial americani che mostravano come rivestirli anche con la carta e subito ho voluto provare anche io.....quindi non è una mia idea, ma l'ho subito sposata!!
Vi mostro come si fanno, è semplicissimo!
Serve uno di questi aggeggi: la pinza I-top oppure uno dei due cazzabubboli che vedete sulla sinistra (lo so che qst termine tecnico è approssimativo ma ho l'impressione che sarò capito lo stesso).
Si tratta comunque dello stesso procedimento, ovvero una cavità in cui inserire il bottone e l'altra (più piccola) che serve per spingere sul retro il fondo del bottone.

Lately I've used hand made buttons in some projects (ok yes .... is another addiction...).
They are  metal buttons, sold in haberdashery or by online shop, that can be covered with fabric (this already gorgeous!). Recently I found American tutorials showing that even cover them with paper and I immediately wanted to try it ..... so it's not my idea, but I immediately loved it!!
I show you how to do, it's easy!
You need one of these materials:

Qui ho usato l'aggeggino più semplice.

Si taglia un pezzo di carta, un po' più grande del bottone. Si taglia un pezzo di carta forno più grande ancora.

 

Cut a piece of paper, a bit largest of the button. Cut a piece of oven paper even bigger.

Si inumidisce la carta usando uno spruzzino o della carta assorbente bagnata.

Wet the paper using a spray or wet paper towels.

Si inserisce nella cavità la carta forno, la carta e il tappo in questo modo, schiacciando semplicemente con un dito.

Put into the cavity in order oven paper, the paper and the cap in this way, simply pressing with a finger.

Si spingono verso l'interno i bordi della carta che avanza con un qualsiasi strumento un po' appuntito (io ho usato il fondo di un pennello).

Push the paper edges inside edges with any pointes instrument (I used the bottom of a brush).

Si appoggia sopra il retro del bottone (esistono retri piatti, oppure con i buchi o anche a spilla) e si preme con il tappino.

Put the back of the button and press with the cap.

Si toglie il tappo tirando la carta forno.

Remove the cap pulling the oven paper.

Ed ecco qui! Sembra di tessuto....e invece è di carta, magari perfetto per un progetto in cui abbiamo usato quello stesso foglio!

And here it is! Seems fabric.... and instead is paper, maybe perfect for a project in which we used the same sheet!

Altro esempio, il bottone che ho usato qui, il più grosso....è sempre fatto di carta.

Lo so...non è l'America....ma a me questi bottoni fanno impazzire!
